Our Story

Teenagers on careers education

Working Eye on Countdown

If Working Eye were a blockbuster Pixar movie, their hugely successful pitch model would tell our story like this:

1. ONCE UPON A TIME…

… there was no single source of information, no go-to reference point, that helped people (especially young people) understand the huge number of career choices and thousands of job options open to them, or how to go about getting them.

2. EVERY DAY…

… teenagers would struggle with disconnected website information, pages and pages of dry text, psychometric tests, and careers advice that was generic and often out of date with the ever-changing world of work.

3. THEN ONE DAY…

… Working Eye career discovery arrived. Driven by state-of-the-art AI and Deep Learning, it brought impartial clarity to the world of work through a cognitive chatbot, expertly crafted short films, infographics and its top class communication ethos.

4. BECAUSE OF THAT…

… schools adopted Working Eye in their droves. It helped them fulfil their Gatsby Benchmark obligations as they enriched academic topics with relevant careers education. Schools encouraged parents to subscribe to Working Eye so that students could explore careers in their own time.

5. AND BECAUSE OF THAT…

… employers and industry bodies commissioned Working Eye to make even more films. Films that would throw light on the many opportunities that they had to offer, and to help attract the right skills and talent that are needed for growth in today’s constantly evolving economies, globally.

6. UNTIL FINALLY…

… Working Eye became the gold standard in career discovery. This spawned new data analytics, revealing unimagined insights into demographics and trends in the attitudes, aspirations, and future-facing qualities of today’s work force and tomorrow’s talent pool. Insights that helped employers and educationalists better understand the resources available to them, and to improve the symbiosis between the world of work and education.
